Earlier this year, the Gas Products Division of IMUA Associate Member Mueller Company of Decatur, Illinois, in partnership with fellow IMUA
Associate Member Groebner & Associates, Inc., co-hosted the Decatur-based companys first annual Mueller Municipal Days. The open house
drew gas employees from a number of Illinois municipalities, including several IMUA member-communities. In addition to a guided tour of the
companys Decatur manufacturing plant and historical museum, the day-long event included training sessions on tapping, line-stopping and valve
changing and maintenance. Mueller Co. Regional Accounts Manager Luke Wenneker (center) said the company plans to host its 2009 event
sometime this coming spring. Among those participating in the event were (from left to right) Mike Crow, Rantoul; Jeff Schober, Pawnee; Regan

High Wire Job: A contract employee of Michels Power of Fond DuLac, Wisconsin, roller paints a section of a 138-kv steel transmission tower
owned by the City of Naperville. The tower - one of 14 such towers which replaced 54 aging wooden poles taken down for the new city-owned
transmission line - is located along 75th Street in Naperville, between the municipalitys Meadows and Modaff substations, a distance of
approximately 1.5 miles. According to City of Naperville Director of Public Utilities Alan Poole, the citys $3 million contract with Michels Power
